It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dallas Harris of Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Harris and Edith Harris; his son Jeffery Harris; his brother Malcolm Harris; and his stepson Stephen Abbott.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Harris; his son Steve Harris (Sandy); his stepchildren, Gary Abbott, Susan Johnson (Larry) and Tommy Abbott (Shannon); his siblings, Harold Harris (Narcie) of Drill, VA, Shirley Miller of Louisiana and Glenda Lowe (Roby) of Lebanon, VA; and his close friends, Mark and Debbie Barr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
