She is survived by: her daughter Judy Cartwright; her son-in-law Richard Cartwright; her grandchildren, Kenneth Cartwright and Jennifer Freed; her siblings, Edward Emmert of Tennessee and Helen Hodgson of Virginia; and also, Melissa Cartwright and Robert Freed.

Private services are scheduled for June 23, 2017 at Miramar National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Anderson Street Methodist Church in Bristol Tennessee, 954 Anderson Street, Bristol, TN 37620.
