She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Watson and Roy Watson; her grandparents, Spurgeon and Frona Tester; her husband Edward Vernon Saylor; her brother Charles Watson; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Saylor, Emma Smith, Betty Dugger and Elva Lee Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Cates (Billy) of Bristol, TN and Edward Vernon Saylor, Jr. (Denise) of League City, TX; her grandchildren, Erin Saylor and Christopher Cates (Mandy); and her siblings-in-law, Elfreide Saylor, Joyce Watson and Bobby Dugger. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
