She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Hobbs and Virginia Leonard Hobbs; and her husband William McKinley Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, Mary Millard, Patsy Royston, Donna Boardwine, Kathy Orrison, Larry Shaffer, Teresa Watkins and Joie Shaffer. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
