He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Kilby and Ella Mae Canter Kilby; and his siblings, Peggy Colleen Anderson and Jack Wilmer Kilby. He is survived by: his wife Violet Kilby; his daughters, Debra Kilby of Berlin, Germany and Teresa Cloyd (Rob Simis) of Bristol, VA.; his grandsons, Brad Cloyd of Bristol, TN and Ryan Cloyd (Kelly) of Greenville, S. C.; his great grandchildren, Ella Brooks Cloyd and Hannah Elizabeth Cloyd; his brother Harry Kilby (Lynda) of Bristol, VA; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Ball Kilby of Randleman, N. C.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
