She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brown Slemp and Rilla Combs Slemp; her husband William C. Bennett; her son William Keith Bennett; and her siblings, Alma Slemp Ward and John B. Slemp.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia Bennett Galloway (Mike); and her grandsons, Creighton and Andy Galloway. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in honor of Mrs. Bennett to Anderson Street United Methodist Church, 954 Anderson Street, Bristol, TN 37620.
