With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Sue Pruitt Rice (Bristol, Tennessee), born in Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2019 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pruitt and Margaret Phillips Pruitt; her sister Betty Hammitt; and her parents-in-law, Robert and Alberta Rice.
She is survived by: her husband John B. Rice; her siblings, Danny Pruitt and Connie Skaggs; and her nieces and nephews, Tamara, Michelle, Randy and J. W.. She is also survived by several great nieces and one great nephew.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sullivan County Animal Shelter.
