In the vast expanse of eternity, Betty Jane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Betty Jane farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen S. Henry and Grace Dorton Henry; her sons, Richard Stephen Powell and Roger Daniel Powell; and her sisters, Blossom Teffeteller, Jo Helton and Doris Burch.
She is survived by: her son Kelly Powell of Bristol, TN; her grandchildren, Nicholas Powell, Laurn Powell, Gabe Powell and Jessie Powell; and her sister Alleen Culbertson.
