He is survived by: his parent Maude Irene Johnson Essary; his spouse Madge J. Essary; his daughters, Taisa Essary Novak (Steve), Tanya Elaine Essary, Buffy, Kali and Devin; and his niece Judy Bruce Palmer (Roger).
