He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Susanne Elswick Whitt (Ronnie) of Raven, VA and Joseph Beecher Elswick (Laura) of Nora, VA; his sister Elaine Elswick Clevinger of Grundy, VA.; his grandchildren, Emily Elswick (Gabe Dupree) of Norton, VA, Mason Elswick (Hailey) of St. Paul, VA and Daniel Elswick of Nora, VA; his great grandchild Adley Winters of St. Paul, VA; his cousin Dexter Ramey of Abingdon, VA; and his pets, Ole Duke and Jack.
