He was predeceased by: his father James A. Burns; and his sister Karen O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Judy Burns; his children, Michelle MacNeil (Patrick MacNeil) and Mike Breuninger (Lauren Davis); his grandchildren, Ashlee Minor (Marina Guyer) and Trent Rogers (Morgan Slagle); his brother-in-law Paul O'Neal; and his siblings, Louise Margoline (Gary Margoline) and Jimmy Burns (Bev). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
