He is survived by: his wife Naomi Tester Shepherd; his children, Angela Ellis (John) and David Shepherd (Kyra); his grandchildren, Annie Poole (Brian), Kyle Ellis, Zachary Shepherd (April) and Jacob Shepherd (Nicki); his great grandchildren, Parker and Hattie Poole; and his siblings, Roger Shepherd (Linda) and Carol Mullikin (Ron).
