With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Thomas Walters of Bristol, Tennessee, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alan Thomas Walters to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulis J. Walters and Virginia Ruth Walters; and his sister Alice W. Bennett. He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen Walters (Margaret Ann) of Johnson City, Ray Walters (Mattie) of Johnson City, Michael Walters of Johnson City, Brenda Garrett and Linda Baughman (Cecil) of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by eleven nieces & nephews.
He enjoyed meals that his family took to him and were able to share with him on a monthly basis until COVID shut down the nursing home. His family deeply regrets that they were unable to spend any time with him during the past eight months of his life due to the COVID restrictions and hope he knows how much he was loved and will be truly missed.
