It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruthie Bartlett of Brighton, Tennessee, who passed away on July 17, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Therman Edgar and Lilly Akins Elam; and her husband Addison Bartlett. She is survived by: her children, Patty Laxton (Jeff) and Michael Scott (Jenny); her stepchildren, Roger Bartlett and Kay Cavness of Ridgely; and her siblings, Winston Elam, James Elam and Jeanette Warren. She is also survived by four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren.
