She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Ott and Eva Mae Starnes; and her siblings, James Richard Starnes, Will Junior Starnes, Janeva Mary Jacobs and Ollie Meddie Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Newman "Holey" Goforth of Brighton; her children, Charlotte Goforth Jones (Charles) of Brighton, Nina Noreen Glass (Phillip) of Brighton, Anna Marie Goforth of Brighton, Charles Newman Goforth, Jr. of Brighton, Ronald Win Goforth (Teresa) of Brighton and Aaron Nel Goforth of Brighton; and her brother Giles Thomas Starnes. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
