He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sides of Brighton; his children, Joe Harry Sides, Jr. of Brighton and Katie Hensley (Paul) of Brighton; and his grandchildren, Jack Ruffin (Baylee) of Marion, AR, McCallie Ruffin of Nashville and Alec-Thomas Ruffin of Brighton.
