She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Stringer and Thelma Stringer (Shelton); her former husband Raphael Jett; her daughter Paula White of Lewisport, KY; and her siblings, Chester, James, Dorothy Hill and Edith Rich.
She is survived by: her husband Barton Simmons; her children, Steven Jett (Kathleen) of Memphis, TN, Kenneth Jett of Gainesville, FL and Mary Burk (Tim) of Hawesville; her son-in-law Roy White; her sister-in-law Ida Stringer; and her grandchildren, Erin Beth Hardy (Jake), John Ryan White, Christopher Scott (Bobbi), Laura Elder, Rachel Ware (Matthew), Bryce Jett (Isabelle), Daniel White (Sarah), Sarah Rasor (Kadin), Patrick Burk, Joseph Burk and Lauren Burk. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
