He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith Dacus; his children, Gera Leigh Dacus of Brighton and Christopher Patrick Dacus of Memphis; his stepson Henry B. McCain, III of Atoka; and his brother James Ronnie Dacus of Brighton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
