He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Murray and Zelma Murray; his daughter Virginia Gail Murray; and his siblings, Junior Murray, Robert Murray, Bonnie Jackett, Helen Jackson, Virgil Murray and Aubrey Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Murray Wireman (John) of Michigan and Virgil Glenn Murray (Jennifer) of Texas; his grandchildren, Tuff Wireman, Portia Ney Bowers and Fionn Murray; and his siblings, Lynwood Murray of Texas and Dorothy Jones of Henning. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
