She is survived by: her children, Chris Newman (Angela) and Crystal Gray (Richard); her grandchildren, Joseph Newman, Brittany Canady and Hayden Gray; her great grandchildren, Waylon and Dixie; and her siblings, Dessie Fite, Susan Shelly, Charlotte Hammond, Martha Bowers, Norris Roach and Leckie Roach.
