He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Bernice Franks; his grandson Jacob Austin; and his great grandchild Ava Pate. He is survived by: his children, Diane Kelso (Richard) of Oakland, TN, Sandra Karpinski (David) of Brighton, TN, Bobby E. Franks (Wanda) of Memphis and Stephen Franks of Memphis; his grandchildren, Chasity Mallet of Don Graham, David Reece, Kyle Karpinski, Tyler Franks, Nicholas Franks, Lukas Franks and Brett Nagel; and his great grandchildren, Noah Austin, Riley Austin, Trace Hunter Pate, Aubrey Franks and Paetyn Karpinski.
