He is survived by: his wife Melanie Thomason; his children, Meagan Lovett of Brighton and Dylan Lovett of Burlison; his mother Stella Ann Thomason of Covington; and his sisters, Toni Thomason of Covington and Sherry Chaney of Covington. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
