He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Taylor and Katie Taylor; his former wife Peggy Taylor; his sons, Mark and John Taylor; and his brothers, Tommy, Clyde and Mark Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Read; his sons, Bill Taylor, Russ Taylor (Tina) and Joe Taylor (Donna); his stepdaughters, Cheryl Read (Joel) and Cindy Williams (Rodney); his grandchildren, Sarah, Brandon, William, II, Henry, George Taylor, Tara, Taylor Knight, Tabitha Russell, Alexis Williams and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Iris, Izzy, Robbie, Ava, Miles, Elizabeth, Eli and Blake.
