He is survived by: his children, Gayle Porter-Brown (Steve), Eddie Porter (Carletta) and Jim Porter (Crystal); his grandchildren, Megan Morris (Blake), Jackson Brown (Sarah Frances), Edward Porter, Peyton Porter (Toni), Zillon Porter (Savannah), Mason Porter, Coy Porter, Ryker Porter and Whitney Porter; and his sister Lanier Porter Siewertsen. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
