He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Wilson Blue Brown and William Earl Bohon, Sr.; his stepfather Marion G. Brown; his grandparents, John Blue Jr., Lucy Ellen Wilson Blue "Nell", Wilson Earl Bohon and Louise Mattingly Taylor; and his stepgrandfather Charles Thomas Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne Sutherland Bohon; his children, Elizabeth Blue Bohon Thach (Dara) of Boston, MA, William Earl Bohon, III and Andrew Carter Bohon (Avery) of Franklin, TN; his grandchildren, Benjamin Bohon Thach, Alexander Hua Thach, Katherine Blue Thach and Landon Carter Bohon; and his brother Charles Thomas Bohon (Amy) of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of William Bohon to the Massachusetts General Hospital Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
