He is survived by: his wife Pat Graves Whitson; his children, Karli McKay (Baylor) and Whit Whitson, Jr.; his siblings, Robin Langlois (Mark), Terry Fralick (Steve) and Bobby Whitson (Danielle); his siblings-in-law, Pam and James Brown; and his mother-in-law Elween Graves.
