She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlin Martin and Christine Schmidt; her stepfather James Schmidt; and her granddaughter Wyncie Bouge. She is survived by: her husband Larry Carlton; her son Matthew Stevens (Ingrid); her stepchildren, Nathan Carlton and Megan Bouge (Brandon); her grandchildren, Rhylyn Carlton, Emmett Bouge and Madeline Stevens; her sister Gail Hendley Sanders (Lewis); her stepsister Betty Jo Jones (Ron); her nephew Jim Hendley (Sharon); her niece Susan Bowden (Tom); and her great-nephew Cole Dunnavant.
