She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Schara and Verla Schara of Postville, Iowa.. She is survived by: her husband Dave Madsen; her daughters, Laura Madsen Kivilaan (Aleks) and Amy Madsen Ross (Steve); her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson (David), David Kivilaan (Amy), Zach Ross, Noah Ross and Joey Ross; her great grandchildren, Ava Johnson, David Johnson, Aleks Johnson and Andrew Johnson; and her sister Sharon Waters of Squim, Washington..
In Leu of flowers, we would like donations to be sent to Leukemia and Lymphoma society of Middle Tennessee, The Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt or the Nashville Rape and Sexual Abuse Center.
