He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Hampe and Anna Hampe; and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his brother Richard Hampe (Dorothy); his sons, Kurt Hampe (Gail), Joseph Hampe (Jennifer) and James Hampe (Kimberly); and his grandchildren, Michael Hampe, Nicholas Hampe, Brian Hampe, Stephen Hampe, Windy Hampe and Sarah Hampe.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alive Hospice or St. Jude's.
