With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Gale Dunnavant of Brentwood, Tennessee, who passed away on July 23, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd "Flip" Dunnavant Jr. and Edna Speight Dunnavant; her brothers, Ronald Dale Dunnavant and Craig Dunnavant; and her brother-in-law Bobby Johnson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Floyd Dunnavant III (Susan), Nancy Check (Bob) and Cindy Johnson; her nieces and nephews, Daniel Dunnavant (Linda) and DeeDee Hatchell (Kris); her great-nephews, Keith, Lucas Dunnavant, Noah, Nehemiah and Nathanael Hatchell; her sister-in-law Dorothy Parrott Dunnavant; and her extended family, Larrie, Carol Brown, Tresanne Johnson, Velma Wilson, Kathleen Ewers, Shanel Thomas and Lorna Campbell.
The family encourages those attending the visitation and funeral service to consider wearing a mask.
