He is survived by: his wife Rachel Sanders; his sons, John Patrick Sanders, Matthew Grey Sanders (Joanie) and Anthony Batey Sanders (Alice); his grandchildren, Lauren Ashley Sanders, Zachary Grey Sanders, Emma Grace Sanders, Hannah Kathleen Sanders, Karmen Jane Sanders, Jack Patrick Sanders, David Grey Sanders, Charlotte Hope Sanders, Keri Bess Grimes (Will) and Brittany Michelle Lynn; his siblings, James Grey Sanders, Nancy Lee Hearn, Theodore R. Sanders, Emily Ann Davis, Martha Jane Davenport and Sarah Frances Swanson; and his pet Gerta.
