With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Jean Bernal (Brentwood, Tennessee), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 5, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sherwood Atkinson Hindley and Flora Rookard Hindley; her husband James McAlister Bernal; her children, Janet Lynn Bernal Backes (Thomas) and James McAlister Bernal, Jr. (Robin); and her grandchildren, Jamie, Evan, Ryan, Karen and Stephanie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Williamson County Endowed Graduate Student Award for graduate students attending the Haslem School of Business at the University of Tennessee--Knoxville, 1525 University Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921.
