It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Tackitt of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Floyd, Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Trigg Thompson and Lala Thompson; her brother Alva; her son David Teel; and her siblings, Christine Reed (Hardin), Betty Teel, Cedric Thompson, Glenn Thompson (Nora Lee) and Russell Thompson (Deirdre).
She is survived by: her husband Hollis Irvin Tackitt; her children, Deborah Teel Armstrong (Patrick) and Timothy Teel (Carol); her grandchildren, Asher Armstrong (Helen Becque), Meade Armstrong, Brandon Teel (Candace), Cassie Russell (James), Merry Owczykowski (Michael), Amy Armstrong, Dalton Teel, Eli Teel, Hallie Anne Teel and Carson Teel; her great grandchildren, Marta, Jack Armstrong and Cooper Teel; and her siblings, Erma Jean Gallimore (Roger), Marie (Wendell), Major Thompson (Gail) and Joe.
