She was predeceased by: her father Bennett Hunt; her husband Michael Mitchell; and her mother Mary Baker Hunt. She is survived by: her daughters, Bee and Rebecca; her son-in-law Jacob Spray; and her grandsons, Christopher and Alex.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
