He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvin Daniel "M. D." and Elna Mobley Wallace; his former wife Linda Ard Wallace Temple; his brother Mark Wallace (Cheryl); and his stepson Kyle Wallace (Jamie).
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Wallace of Franklin, Tennessee; his daughters, Cristie Wallace Herring (Steve) of Houston, Texas and Jill Wallace Greig of Houston, Texas; his stepchildren, Dr. Casey Burgdorf (Michael) of Brentwood, Tennessee and Brock Wallace (Jamie) of Brandon, Mississippi; his siblings, Kaye Salassi (Bill) of Houston, Texas and Alan Wallace of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Rex Fletcher, Cade Herring, Parker, Jackson, David, Allie Burgdorf, Anson, Valerie, Dean, Myla and Hamp Wallace; his nieces and nephews, Brennan Salassi, Ashley Salassi Hunker (Stephan), Brianna and Daniel Wallace; and his great-niece Tiara Wallace.
