He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Ellis Walton; his children, Eric Van Allen Walton (Mary Elizabeth), Robyn Carole Walton Padgett (Jason) and Catherine Anne Walton; and his grandchildren, Emily Ellis Walton and Natalie Elizabeth Padgett.
