He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Smith and Emma Lawson Smith. He is survived by: his children, David Matlock (Pam) of Cornersville, TN, Thomas Matlock (Deborah) of Daytona Beach, FL and Carolyn Matlock of Seattle, WA; and his grandson Carter Matlock of Cornersville, TN. He is also survived by friends who are his extended family.
