She is survived by: her husband Dr. Jack Schmitt; her son Jay Schmitt (Wendy); her grandchildren, Emily Schmitt and Jack IV of Atlanta; her daughter Kelley Schmitt Rice (Ted); her stepgrandchildren, Trillium Rice and Gabe Rice; her niece Linda Weichlein Burrow (Pat); and her great-niece Holly Burrow of Pipe Creek, Texas..
