He is survived by: his wife Marsha Pyburn Sims; his children, Rainey Brown (Douglas), Kelly Sims, Sidnie Tipton Sims and Jerry Keith Sims, II; his grandsons, Trey Brown (Lauren) and Troy Brown (Stephanie); and his great grandchildren, Nellie-Kate, Solomon, Charlotte and Grace Brown.
