James W. Burton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Burton of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bondurant Burton and Virginia Lamm Burton; and his former wife Ann Burton (Wheeler). He is survived by: his wife Linda Burton (Bradshaw); his children, Craig Burton (Megan), Chris Burton (Jamie) and Amy Klinefelter (Chris); his stepdaughter Emily Drummond (Brandon); his grandchildren, Karina, Ellie, Grace, Caleb, Harper, Evie, Annie, Ty, Olivia, Wade, Emma, Nathan and Bennett; and his siblings, Elizabeth Waggoner (Pat), Mary Goodin (Bill) and Walter Burton (Heidi). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Presbyterian Academy (2323 Old Hickory Blvd a, Nashville, TN 37215). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Christ Presbyterian Church (2323 Old Hickory Blvd a, Nashville, TN 37215).
