With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Roy Miller of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on June 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Roy Miller to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde Lewis Miller and Jewell Calhoun Miller Wright. He is survived by : his wife Charlotte "Sissy" Guinn Miller; his daughters, Jamea Miller Harper (Cy), Lauren "Lolly" Jewell Miller and Mariam Miller Kohl (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Cyrus "Rus" Wayne Harper III (Jenny), Elizabeth Miller Harper, Eleanor McKenna Kohl and Miller Grace Kohl.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brentwood United Methodist Church (309 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Brentwood United Methodist Church.
