Hartman and Lena Beatrice Hartman (Kimbro); his brothers, John Roy Linder II and Lawrence Lee Linder; his parent-in-law James M. McWhorter; his brother-in-law Raymond E. McWhorter; and his nephew Donald L. Linder.

He is survived by: his wife Euphiazene Linder (McWhorter); his daughters, Peggy D. Jackson (Linder) of Brentwood, TN and Patricia D. Schiele (Linder); his grandchildren, Richard Dale Jackson, Jr. of Mufreesboro, TN and Ashley D. Holland (Pigue) of LaVergne, TN; his great grandchildren, Savannah H. Greer of Boston, Austin James Holland of Woodbury, TN, Lucion D. Jackson and Finnian A. Jackson of Mufreesboro, TN; his sister-in-law Rita G. Davenport (David R.) of Paradise Valley, AZ; his nephews, John Roy Linder III, Jason R. McWhorter, Michael R. Davenport and Scott R. Davenport; and his niece Stephanie D. Anderson (McWhorter). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
