With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Hugh Haynes of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Union City, Tennessee, who passed away on March 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Booker Haynes and Josephine Jessica Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Templeton; his children, James Lawrence Haynes (Valentine), Charles Phillip Haynes Nashville (Steve), Charlotte Heath and Jennifer Chinander (Donnie); and his grandchildren, Brittany Heath, Jacob Chinander, Rheanna Heath, Amber Chinander, Kathryn Chinander, Luke Chinander, Thomas Haynes (Danielle) and Jordan Haynes.

Memorial donations in honor of Dr. Haynes may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, American Lung Association or an organization of your choice.
