Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gwen Ann Spann of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 91, on February 24, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband John Arthur Spann, Jr.; her son John Arthur Spann III; her parents, Clarence R. Koehn and Doretta Koehn (Heck); and her siblings, Dorothy Cobb (Koehn), Clarence Koehn, Jr., Ray Koehn and Jarvis Koehn.
She is survived by: her son Franklin Lee Spann (Cindy Foster); her grandson John Arthur Spann IV (Kristy); her great grandchildren, John Spann V and Audrey Spann; and her grandchildren-in-law, Josalyn, Savannah and Caroline.
It was important to her that, especially in light of COVID, no one feel obligated to attend her funeral service.
Also, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to Arlington United Methodist Church, 1360 Murfreesboro Rd, Nashville, TN 37217, would be appreciated.
