He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Mae Holloarn and Louis Harrison Heckle; and his brothers, Kenneth Heckle, Herbert Heckle and Hubert Heckle.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Heckle (Patti) and Steve Heckle (Connie); and his wife Una. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a niece; and great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be sent to Crievewood Baptist Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
