It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Elizabeth Cathcart of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Anne Frey and Regina O'Guinn; and her sister-in-law Delores Hardin. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Cathcart-Richardson (Eddy); her granddaughter Karen Russell (Paul) of Columbia, SC; her daughter Christy Smith (Jason); her grandchildren, Mclaine Richardson, Caleb Smith, Jacob Smith and Jarod Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Bass of Pulaski, TN and Faye Norwood of Tuscumbia, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
