We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2023, at the age of 71, George M. Young Jr. (Brentwood, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Young, Sr. and Jean Marie Young (Hobbs); his grandparents, Orville, Marie Young (Jones), Harry K. and Margaret Hobbs (Griffin); his uncle Jack; his aunts, Kate and Geraldine "Jerre" Morton (Hobbs); and his cousin Harry Scott Jinnette (Saundra).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Faye Young (Witt); his stepdaughters, Rana Owen and Susan Olivia Stovall (Chis); his brother Jon S. Young; and his cousins, Jack Hunter (Eddie Mac) and Teresa Jones (Jinnette). He is also survived by loving his family and friends, his classmates.
