She is survived by: her children, Hylton Hawkins (Carol) and Diane Hawkins Buckberg (Joel); her grandchildren, Tyler Hawkins, Josh Buckberg (Cassie) and Ashley Buckberg; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Jeffrey and Valerie Buckberg.

Dot was a member of the Nashville Home Demonstration Club, active in the American Heart Association, and the Parent Teacher Association.
