It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmas Carter Brake of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Brake and Arbie Brake; his wife Barbara Whitaker Brake; and his siblings, Fred, David, Robert Brake, Jeanette McCawley, Katie Wilson, Fran Arrington and Pam Jones.

He is survived by: his son Chip; his daughter-in-law Karen Brake; and his granddaughter Carrie.
