We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025, at the age of 76, David Gleaves of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though David may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, JW "Dub" Lambert and Evelyn Lambert; and his brother Richard "Ricky" Gleaves. He is survived by: his wife Mary Patricia Gleaves (Pat); his children, Angela Gleaves and Travis Gleaves (Phetsamay); and his granddaughter Rachel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
